Indus University Ph.D Eligibility Criteria

Candidates must hold a relevant Master’s degree with a minimum of 55% marks or equivalent grade. Indus University Ph.D Duration and Study Modes

The full-time Ph.D programme generally requires a minimum of three years to complete. Part-time Ph.D scholars may take four years or more depending on research schedule and progress. Full-time scholars must be available during regular academic hours, while part-time scholars require employer consent or organizational approval. Extensions may be granted depending on research complexity, data collection, experimental work, or publication requirements.

Indus University Ph.D Coursework and Research Structure

After provisional admission, scholars begin coursework which includes Research Methodology and Research & Publication Ethics. Departments assign subject-focused papers to strengthen foundational knowledge. Once coursework is completed, scholars prepare a detailed research synopsis explaining topic objectives, methodology, and expected outcomes. The synopsis is reviewed by the Departmental Research Committee. Research then begins under supervision with periodic presentations, progress seminars, data collection, and academic writing. The journey concludes with thesis submission and a final viva-voce examination.

Indus University Ph.D Fee Structure 2026

Indus University’s Ph.D fee structure includes a one-time registration fee of ₹500, coursework fee of ₹10,000, and an annual tuition fee of ₹50,000 for full-time scholars and ₹40,000 for part-time scholars. Additional charges include a yearly library fee of ₹2,000 and a refundable caution deposit of ₹3,000.
